Moderate : In Ladakh, as weather is likely to change on a day to day basis thus making driving a little tricky. The two mountain passes Khardung La and Chang La especially Chang La, here the weather changes in hours from bright sunny to rain to hailstorm to heavy snowfall.
The roads in Ladakh also present a challenge to driver as it could be twisted as a hair pin bend and steep as a mountain. Some stretches are full off water, gravel and sand which presents a tough challenge to bikers. With off road kilometers almost equal to on road’s it would be quite an adventure.
