Upshi – Small village with great hospitality

Upshi Ladakh is situated along the scenic beauty of the Valley of Indus River and Tanglang La, located on Leh Manali Highway! To the south of this village is Gya – again a beautiful spot to visit. The road further Upshi village takes you to Tibet. And this road is well equipped with helipad – if you are planning for an aerial view of this beautiful place. The Upshi village economy depends on Goat farming and tourism.

The nearest airport is at the distance of 42 kms located at Ladakh. Upshi lies 11,893 meters above the sea level and hence, it is one of the most elevated cities in India.
