Tso Moriri – Ladakh’s Sacred Lake and Ramsar Wetland

Tso Moriri, also known as Lake Moriri, is a calm and beautiful high-altitude lake in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Sitting at an elevation of about 15,075 feet (4,595 meters). It is the largest high-altitude lake entirely within Indian territory, stretching about 28 kilometers long and 5-8 kilometers wide.
